Welcome to the International Schools of Myanmar’s (ISM) webpage. This will be my first year at ISM and one of the main reasons why I chose to come to Myanmar so that I could be part of the outstanding educational program being offered at ISM.
The educational program at ISM is centered around our Schoolwide Learner Outcomes: Our students will be critical thinkers, academic achievers, effective communicators, self-directed lifelong learners, and involved citizens. We offer a low student/teacher ratio with an outstanding overseas teaching staff, who are committed to education and are focused on research-based best teaching practices. The International School of Myanmar follows an American curriculum with Advanced Placement courses being offered in our high school program culminating in an American High School diploma. Core subjects are complemented by a variety of electives and a dynamic co-curricular program offering something for all interests. We understand that academics are only one part of a holistic well-balanced education.
